Looks like the scoots are based on the old Mustang Brand scooters. Smaller engines but cool looking

There's a whole article in the December issue of "Scoot! Magazine". Correct about being based on the Mustang.

$5000 seems to much to me.

Seen these at the motorbike show last week. They are pretty cheap looking for 5000 and would be worth 1200 after a few months of riding. you can buy a fully restored mustang for 4-6 grand and it will hold value forever

yea, we also saw them at the show. Seems to be someone looking to get in cheap on the scooter revival. (cheap being the key word) If someone wanted a classic looking scoot, there are a ton of them out there, Cushman, Mustangs, and older Vespas and Pigs. As well as more unusual ones for the same price, Harley Toppers, NSU's, Triumphs and others. Seemed to be more like a 2k scooter, not a 5 K which would get you a new Vespa or Buddy.
